Schola Sarmenti Winery Experience

Within Schola Sarmenti’s historic Lecce-stone cellar, wine is presented as an expression of Salento’s land, traditions and native grapes. The guided visit introduces guests to the winemaking process, from grape arrival to maturation and bottling, while exploring the character of varieties such as Negroamaro and Primitivo. The experience concludes with a guided tasting of three, four or five wines, depending on the selected itinerary, accompanied by local specialities such as taralli, focaccia, friselline, cheeses and cured meats.
